About Clay Lotus

Those who know me well will tell you there was a time I was willing to put anything on my skin if it would help with my acne. I was like a mad scientist with all the self-experimenting I did — I tried the latest ‘wonder’ products from fancy name brands, saw dermatologists and tried a bunch of medications.

But nothing seemed to do the trick.

Even when something did, it left my skin raw, sensitive and irritated. When I started reading the ingredient lists and saw complex names I couldn’t pronounce, I worried what damage it could be doing. The final straw came when I was working as a skincare advisor for a major cosmetics company and testing one of their latest facial cleansers. A colleague told me to try it on my nail polish — and it wiped my nail clean.

That’s when I decided to go on my own skincare journey. I looked for natural alternatives, but soon found companies could claim to be “natural” when only 1% of the ingredients actually were — while still hiding harsh chemicals, drying alcohols, dyes, synthetics and cheap fillers.

So I took matters into my own hands and created Clay Lotus. I researched natural remedies, the science behind each ingredient, and time-tested Ayurvedic treatments to create something new, yet timeless.

After seeing how great the results were for my skin, I shared them with friends and family — clear, calm and radiant skin in harmony with nature. We are constantly striving to bring you genuinely unique products that work for every skin concern and type.
